Since the start of Covid 19 in March 2020, our volunteers started providing our Community Support Service. We provided a dedicated number for people to ring who needed some help. We also registered and assist with the Louth County Council Community call centre.

On a daily basis we have provided some of the following within the Town and surrounding areas. We have and continue to support people from Ardee to Drogheda, East Meath to Balbriggan, along the coast Annagassan, Toghar, Clogherhead into Dunleer etc.

We have done:

Prescription collections and drops from Doctors to chemists and Medication drops to homes.

Collected and Delivered food parcels for people at home.

Provided lifts to and from Hospitals, Doctor appointments or to test centres.

Delivered ppe equipment in the Northeast

Called in and checked on the Elderly and those cocooning.

Daily/weekly shopping,

Daily/weekly dinner collection and drops.
