Incident @1801 – update.

Callout to a report of Oil or Diesel in the River near the football field in Mell. Crews attended the scene and patrolled both sides of the river to see if they could find the cause and assessed the situation. Louth County Council and fire service were alerted of the incident. One seagull was rescued and taken to a local vets by a member of the public.

Louth County Fire and Rescue, Louth County Council Engineer, Drogheda Coastguard & the Boyne Fishermen Rescue also attended the incident.
